I hope you enjoyed the toondo above. It focuses on the importance of team work. I am sure that most people can relate to the characters on the cartoon. The first day everyone seems lost and worried. The first week everyone seems to have their own ways of doing things. Then finally if the team follows guidelines they tend to be smiling on grading day. Usually a project will consist of an essay or some sort of writing along the way. Here it is important to assign responsibilities, team leaders, assignments clearly. There will always be slackers on every team, but that does NOT mean that everyone can or should slack.

Great Post Juan! I really liked the ToonDoo. I can definetly relate to the example you showed in the comic strip. I agree with your last point as well. Even if other members of your group aren't pulling their fair share of the load you still have to make sure that the final result is an excellent presentation/essay/whatever. Unfortunately it is your grade on the line as well, and at least in my view the grade is worth more than the moral victory in refusing to pick up the slack for other team members who aren't doing their job. Thankfully thats not an issue with this group.
ReplyDeleteYour ToonDoo is well done! I could never figure out how to get it uploaded to the blog :-(
ReplyDeleteCan definetly relate to this. Slack in a group is almost always an issue. Great example and toondoo.
ReplyDeleteThis toondoo actually made me smile. Good job Juan. Even though there is not many words, it explains everything with the peoples visual aspects. Congrats.
ReplyDeleteAwesome toondoo. I like the happy faces on the last strip. On our team, slackers get kicked off the team and we don't have to deal with them, right?
ReplyDeleteExcellent post Juan, clear and straight to the point.
